As an SMA holder, you can easily access KeyWriter, an application which allows you to receive upgrades of your licenses or the transfer of licenses between your hardware keys. This is a useful tool if you have multiple servers and want to move applications between these servers. FotoWare KeyWriter also allows you to receive licenses for new applications without having to be shipped/charged for new hardware keys.

SMA is the most cost-effective way of staying up-to-date with your FotoWare system. When purchased together with new software, the cost is 18% of the current list price of the installed software. When adding an SMA to an already existing FotoWare system, the price is 21% for the first year. After that it drops to the usual 18%.
